Task 1-TOEFL iBT スピーキング
出題パターン
Which/ What / Why / Who / how
Task1では、この出題パターンが問われます。
- あなたが一番尊敬する人は？
- 今までで感動した経験は？
こういった抽象的な質問に対して、どう答えるか迷っちゃいますよね。そんな時はこう答えると伝わりやすいです。

Task 2-TOEFL iBT スピーキング
出題パターン
Which do you prefer/ Agree or disagree
Task2では、この出題パターンが問われます。
「△△をするか、××をするかどちらを選ぶ？」タイプの問題です。
・勉強をするとき、タブレットが良いか、紙の本がよいか？
・結婚する前に同棲したほうがよいか？悪いか？
このような２択型の質問をして、あなたの意見を述べます。そんなときはこのパターンに沿って答えると良いでしょう。
①Positive Answer
Well, in my opinion, I would definitely agree with the point that, um, ____________________.The first reason that I wanna say is that____________________.More importantly, ____________________. So, uh, that’s why I choose____________________ for the two reasons listed above.
②Negative Answer
In my opinion, I do not agree with A/ I prefer B

③Neutral Answer

Task 3-TOEFL iBT スピーキング
Task3では、この出題パターンが問われます。
出題パターン
問題提起は以下のような形で、英文での形で提供されます。
「ある大学でのバス送迎サービスが停止するという決定を下しました。その背景には高い運営コストの問題があり・・・（以下省略）」のような問題提起の説明文を読んだあと、登場人物がその話題についての会話を始めます。（つまり、リスニングが始まる）
（会話内容）
男：「僕は大学が下した、（送迎バス廃止）案には反対だな。」
女：「えー本当？私何回かあのバスにのったことあるけど、殆ど人が乗ってなかったわよ。だからお金の無駄に思えるんだけど。」
男：「言いたい事は分かるんだけど、問題は運行区域だよ。（以下略）」
こんな具合に。
そして会話が終わると、
The man expresses his opinion of the university’s plan to eliminate the bus service. State his opinion and explain the reasons he gives for holding that opinion.
という具合にクエスチョンが課されます。それに対してあなたは意見を述べなくてはなりません。そんなときに、以下の回答例が活用できるでしょう。
下の回答例にもあるように、まずは質問の意図をしっかりと汲みとり、それぞれの考えを整理しましょう。

In the reading material, there is a/an announcement/ message/ notice/ proposal about …. .And the man/woman holds a positive / negative view towards the announcement. The first reasons/he gives is that____________________. And the second one is based on the fact that____________________. Therefore, s/he agrees/disagrees with that opinion.
Task 4-TOEFL iBT スピーキング
出題パターン
Task4で問われる出題パターンを見ていきましょう。
まず最初に、ある登場人物が話す内容（lecture)についての簡単な説明文が出てきます。
たとえば、「social interaction」についての実験についての講義であれば、語られる話題について簡単な英文で説明されます。こんな具合に
このリーディングパートを読み、その内容を1文、あるいは２文程度にまとめましょう。可能であれば、それをメモの形で残しておくとよいでしょう。そしてお待ちかねのリスニングパートがはじまります。
というわけでリスニングをする前に英文を読み、話される内容を把握するのですが、すべて理解できるとは限りません。
その場合はリスニングの際に得られるようにベストを尽くしましょう。回答の仕方も理解度に応じて以下のように工夫すれば良いでしょう。
Case 1: listeningとreading部分が両方とも理解できた場合、
Based upon the reading, _____(xxx)_____ means that ____________. In the lecture, the professor mainly talked about the theory that____________________.To reinforce the theory, the professor gave two examples / reasons in his speech. The first one i that____________________. The other one is that____________________.And that’s the two examples / reasons the speaker presented to explain his/her idea. (The conclusion is optional. )
Case 2: listening部分から内容は推測できたが、reading部分でいまいち意味を把握できなかった場合
In the lecture, the professor talks about two (examples). One is about …. The other is about. He tries to use these two examples to elaborate the concept of “XXX” which was already explained in the reading, with means ….
and …. .
The first example the professor mentioned was ….

Task 5-TOEFL iBT スピーキング
Task5で問われる出題パターンを見ていきましょう。
出題パターン
ある会話をきいて、登場人物が抱えている問題を把握し、それを解決する手段をその理由も含めて提案する。
STEP①In this conversation, the man/woman is having a hard time dealing with the problem that____________________.
STEP②The woman/man offers two suggestions/advice/solutions.

Task6で問われる出題パターンはTask4とほぼ一緒なので割愛します。

Another example is that____________________. (And that’s the two examples the speaker presented to explain the theory/phenomenon. Still, the conclusion is optional. )
